Adobe releases Photoshop 26.11

Adobe has released Photoshop 26.11, the latest version of the image-editing software, widely used in the entertainment industry for concept art, texture editing, and retouching renders.

The update adds new Projects feature for creating and managing shared projects, and makes it possible to view images generated with Adobe’s Firefly AI tools from the home screen.

Create and manage simple cloud-based shared projects from within Photoshop
The main new feature in Photoshop 26.11 is Projects, a new system for creating and managing shared cloud-based projects from inside the software.

Users can upload Photoshop (.psd), Illustrator (.ai) and Adobe Express files to a shared location on Adobe cloud storage, available as part of Photoshop and photography plan subscriptions.

They can then send email invitations to collaborators to join the project, and assign simple permissions options: currently just Can Comment and Can Edit.

Sharper rendering of Chinese, Japanese or Korean text
In addition, when opening a Photoshop document, it is now possible to update text layers to use vector-based output.

The option is mainly intended to improve display of Chinese, Japanese and Korean text, but may also help when displaying documents created using fonts not available directly to the user.

View Firefly generation history from the Photoshop home screen
Photoshop users can also now preview and import any still images they have generated using Firefly, Adobe’s suite of online generative AI tools, from the software’s home screen.

Single-app Photoshop subscriptions currently include 25 generative credits per month, enough to generate a single image with the Firefly 4 Ultra AI model.

Price and system requirements
Photoshop 26.11 is compatible with Windows 10+ and macOS 13.0+. In the online documentation, it is also referred to as the September 2025 release or Photoshop 2025.9.

The software is rental-only, with Photography subscription plans that include access to Photoshop costing $29.99/month or $239.88/year.

Single-app Photoshop subscriptions cost $34.49/month or $263.88/year.
