Arrowhead Game Studios backs the Blender Development Fund

Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead Game Studios has become the latest corporate backer of the Blender Development Fund.
The game studio’s Gold membership guarantees at least €30,000/year in funding for the open-source 3D software: roughly half the salary of a full-time Blender developer.
Blender’s latest corporate sponsor is a Blender user itself
Arrowhead is the third new corporate backer of the Blender Development Fund in two weeks, with its €30,000/year contribution putting it on a par with the much bigger Dell Technologies.
Like Netflix Animation Studios, the other recent donor, it’s a Blender user itself, listing the open-source 3D software as one of the key tools in its art department, alongside Maya, ZBrush and Substance 3D Painter.
In the case of Arrowhead, the software is used on its award-winning Windows and console games, which include Gauntlet and the Helldivers series.
