Adobe releases Photoshop 25.5
Adobe has released Photoshop 25.5, the latest version of image-editing software.
Updates to Adjustment Presets and the contextual task bar
The release extends the Adjustment Presets system introduced in Photoshop 24.5, with users now able to save their Adjustment layer settings as custom Adjustment Presets.
Custom presets can then be exported as Photoshop .psap files, making it possible to reuse them on future projects, or to share them with other artists.
In addition, the contextual task bar gets new options for formatting text, with users now able to set text alignment, leading, kerning, and font style directly from the bar.
Pricing and system requirements
Photoshop 25.5 is available for Windows 10+ and macOS 11.0+. In the online documentation, it is also referred to as the February 2024 release.
The software is rental-only, with Photography subscription plans, which include access to Photoshop and Lightroom, starting at $119.88/year.
Single-app Photoshop subscriptions now cost $34.49/month or $263.88/year.
