Platige Image has created a very Blade Runner-esque new trailer for upcoming sci-fi RPG Cyberpunk 2077.

The teaser was created in collaboration with game developer CD Projekt RED: the studios’ second major venture, following their gorgeous trailer for The Witcher 2 – also directed by Oscar nominee Tomek Bagi?ski.

On present evidence, Cyberpunk 2077 – with its scantily clad female android facing off against armed police – won’t break new ground for the representation of women in games, but the editing is stylish and the CG lovely.

Updated 21 January: Platige doesn’t just create nice trailers: it’s very good about releasing eye candy from the making of those trailers. Its Behance post on the Cyberpunk 2077 teaser doesn’t go into much (okay, any) technical detail, but it’s stuffed with beautiful stills of concept art, character models, previz and motion graphics.
