AAA studio releases FurryBall for Cinema 4D

AAA studio has released FurryBall 4.8. The latest update to its GPU-based production renderer adds a new plugin for Cinema 4D, in addition to the existing plugins for 3ds Max and Maya.

Other than Cinema 4D support – still officially in beta – there isn’t a lot new this time round. AAA studio has confirmed this will be the last update before FurryBall 5.0, due next year.

Pricing and availability
FurryBall 4.8 is available now for Maya 2010+, 3ds Max 2013+ and Cinema 4D R15+ on 64-bit Windows only. You’ll need a suitable graphics card to make best use of the renderer.

New licences cost €599 (around $815), including all three plugins.
