Gnomon announces Master Classes 2013 line-up

The Gnomon School of Visual Effects has announced the line-up for its Master Classes 2013 series of online training classes, held from 16-31 December this year.

Learn from the masters of CG, VFX and concept art
The online classes offer a chance to learn from 12 masters of CG, including leading concept artists Neville Page and JP Targete, Blizzard lead look dev artist Kirti Pillai and DreamWorks FX artist Alessandro Pepe.

Each two-hour class focuses on a different element of the visual effects and games industries, from photo collage prototyping and creature design, to mocap workflows in Maya and advanced particle techniques for VFX.

Regular CG Channel readers will also spot a one of our recent interviewees among the instructors: director Miguel Ortega will be discussing the making of his short The Green Ruby Pumpkin.

Each class is offered online in a private forum, enabling users to participate in discussion with the instructor and other students. All videos are HD and can be accessed any time during the event, as often as you like.

Registering for the classes costs $295, but there’s a $30 early bird discount if you sign up before 30 November. A single ticket gives you access to all 14 classes.
