Adobe releases Photoshop 26.10
Adobe has released Photoshop 26.10, the latest version of the image-editing software, widely used in the entertainment industry for concept art, texture editing, and retouching renders.
The update adds a new Star tool, for drawing regular star shapes on the canvas.
Photoshop 26.10: new Star tool
Photoshop 26.10 is a minor update, with the only new feature listed being the Star tool.
It makes it possible to draw a regular star by clicking and dragging on the canvas, rather than using the existing Polygon or Curvature Pen tools.
Users can customize the results by changing settings in the Contextual Task Bar, including the number of points on the star, the depth of the indents, and the fill and stroke settings.
Price and system requirements
Photoshop 26.10 is compatible with Windows 10+ and macOS 13.0+. In the online documentation, it is also referred to as the August 2025 release or Photoshop 2025.8.
The software is rental-only, with Photography subscription plans that include access to Photoshop costing $239.88/year.
Single-app Photoshop subscriptions cost $34.49/month or $263.88/year.
