Register for Riot Games: A Day in the Life of an Artist


Visitors to Gnomon’s Hollywood campus next Thursday, 20 February 2020, will be able to discover what it really takes to work on the world’s top games at Riot Games: A Day in the Life of an Artist.

The free two-and-a-half-hour session, which explores the day-to-day work of concept artists, animators and VFX artists at large studios, will also be broadcast worldwide on Gnomon’s Twitch channel.

League of Legends developer Riot Games is one of the world’s leading game developers, employing over 2,500 people worldwide.

During the Gnomon session, three key staff will explore what it takes to produce professional art in an organisation that complex, to tight production deadlines.

Senior animator Lana Bachynski, concept art lead Gem Lim and senior VFX artist Jason Keyser will reveal the key challenges they face, and what aspiring artists can expect from a career in games art.

The session will be followed by a Q&A, and those attending the event in person will have the chance to speak to a member of Riot’s recruiting team.

Free to attend, but register online in advance
Riot Games: A Day in the Life of an Artist takes place at Gnomon’s Hollywood campus from 7:30-10:00pm PDT on Thursday 20 February 2020. Entry is free, but you’ll need to register online first.

If you can’t make it in person, the event will also be broadcast free on Gnomon’s Twitch channel. You can ask questions via Twitch chat.
