This isn’t new, but we’ve only just spotted it, courtesy of the folks on the VFX Talk forums.

Online humour site Cracked.com has run an article on ‘The five miserable VFX jobs that make movies possible’. The list – which is, incidentally, pretty accurate – is worth five minutes of your time, partly for the shudder of recognition it will provoke, but mainly for the photo captions.

We particularly like the one of the guy in the cardboard box with the legend, ‘The average hobo commands twice the respect of the average matchmove artist’. We won’t spoil the punchline for the pic of Morgan Freeman’s face.
