3d-io has released a half-point update to BonesPro, its 3ds Max skinning plug-in, adding a system for painting and smoothing skin weighting in real time similar to ZBrush and Mudbox.
BonesPro 4.5 also features a completely overhauled MAXScript interface, making the software easier to integrate with a studio pipeline; support for the default 3ds Max undo system and native object types; and a number of performance enhancements.
