Video tutorials: Animation in 3ds Max and Maya
Online character animation service Mixamo has released two new tutorials on YouTube. Both cover the process of working with animation layers, in 3ds Max and Maya respectively.
Each of the videos provides a quickstart guide to the process of using layers to modify pre-created motions applied to a character. The Maya tutorial uses a simple cartoon character; the 3ds Max tutorial uses a more detailed model.
