See the world premiere of David Levy’s PLUG for free

The latest teaser for PLUG, concept artist David ‘vyle’ Levy’s sci-fi short. The film will premiere at the Gnomon School of Visual Effects later this month, followed by an exclusive making-of session and gallery reception.

PLUG, international concept artist David ‘vyle’ Levy’s 18-minute sci-fi short, will get its world premiere at a free evening event at Hollywood’s Gnomon School of Visual Effects on Saturday 25 October.

Set on a post-apocalyptic Earth, the film tells the story of its sole human survivor, a young woman raised by robots. Levy, now senior concept artist at Lightstorm Entertainment, discussed it in our interview last summer.

Exclusive making-of session and gallery reception
The screening will be followed by a two-hour session on the making of the film, covering its concept design, acting, direction and visual effects, hosted by Levy himself and other key creative conbributors.

Speakers include Avatar concept art director Ben Procter, Malificent production designer Dylan Cole and Blizzard Entertainment cinematics veteran Fausto de Martini, plus “additional surprise presenters”.

The making-of session will then be followed by the launch event for The Art of PLUG show at the Gnomon Gallery, which features an exclusive set of production artwork from the film.

Dates and directions
The world premiere of PLUG and the making-of session run from 7-9pm on Saturday 25 October 2014; the gallery reception runs from 9-11pm. Both the screening venue and the gallery are at Gnomon headquarters.

Entry to the event is free, but you need to RSVP online. You can find directions to the venue via the links below.
