EIAS3D releases EIAS 9.1

The EIAS 9.0 release video. The software’s new development team has just released EIAS 9.1, a free update for registered users that makes it possible for Renderama to render much larger files.

EIAS3D has released Electric Image Animation System 9.1, a free update to its animation and rendering tools that improves the speed of Preview mode and rendering workflow on large production assets.

New features in EIAS 9.1 include the option to generate QuickTimes larger than 2GB in the Camera renderer, and to send files larger than 2GB to render slaves via Renderama, EIAS’s render-management system.

Previews are now drawn with anti-aliasing and automatically use an OpenGL cache that “significantly speeds up most of the preview modes (typically by several times)”.

There is also the usual set of smaller updates and bugfixes.

EIAS 9.1 is available now for Windows and Mac OS X, price $895.
