A VR simulation created in VR4MAX for Swire Pacific Offshore by Tree C Technology.
The developer has just built a weather system into the off-the-shelf version of the plug-in.
Tree C Technology has released a new version of VR4MAX, its virtual reality content-creation plug-in for 3ds Max.
VR4MAX 7 adds an atmosphere-generation system, simulating clouds, precipitation and wind, and capable of calculating “physically realistic” lighting based on the current weather conditions.
The update also includes a new Lua scripting engine.
The Generator edition of VR4MAX 7 costs €1,100 (around $1,500). The Extreme edition costs €9,900 ($13,660).
