It almost goes without saying that any Digic Pictures trailer will look amazing, and any Digic Pictures Assassin’s Creed trailer doubly so.
So while the E3 trailer for the latest instalment in Ubisoft’s popular stab-’em-up franchise may not exactly surprise, there is certainly plenty to delight the eye.
It’s probably best not to dwell on the actual plot, as today’s latest Altaïr-alike, Connor Kenway, takes on an entire American Revolution-era army single-handedly.
But while the British troops may not be able to shoot straight, they move beautifully in all other ways (usually straight down into the dirt), and Digic’s editing and cinematography is as seamless as ever.
