Learn Clarisse iFX from DreamWorks’ Danny Janevski

Visitors to Gnomon’s Hollywood campus next Thursday, 10 October 2019, will have a unique opportunity to learn Clarisse iFX from DreamWorks Animation matte painting supervisor Danny Janevski.

During the 150-minute session, Janevski will explore how Isotropix’s powerful set dressing, look dev, lighting and rendering tool can be used in professional VFX and animation workflows.

The event, An Introduction to Clarisse iFX, will also be broadcast worldwide on Gnomon’s Twitch channel: you can watch it via the player embedded above.

Discover how to create an environment in Clarisse iFX from scratch
An interactive toolset for creating and rendering large digital environments, Clarisse iFX is used by studios including DNEG, ILM, and Scanline VFX, on projects including Blade Runner 2049 and Avengers: Endgame.

In the Gnomon presentation, staff from Isotropix will set out the basics of the software, walking the audience through the creation of a complete digital environment from scratch.

Danny Janevski will then reveal how Clarisse iFX can be used in professional workflows, demonstrating how he used the software in some of his own projects.
