Some nice new dynamics options, plus a modular clothing assembly system
The update adds a new Flattening system for creating 2D clothing panels based on the 3D form of a character, plus new options for creating decorative stitching and adding zippers to clothing.
The zips come with quite detailed physics: just one of a number of new dynamics features in the update, including support for wind animation, and the option to pin parts of a garment during simulation.
There is also a new Modular Mode, for assembling 3D garmets from a library of parts like collars and cuffs; and a number of new options for manipulating 2D clothing parts.
And blink and you’ll miss it, but at 2:30, you can see what appears to be a scripting window running Python scripts, so presumably Python support has also been added.
