Get 35 free Photoshop plugins for CG artists

Animator and graphics artist Richard Rosenman has revamped his set of 35 freeware Photoshop plugins for illustration and motion design work, including updating them all for 64-bit operating systems.

Many of the tools for generating different types of fractal patterns, one of Rosenman’s own artistic interests.

However, there are also a lot of more general-purpose filters, including graphics (ASCII art, halftone, box fitting) and video effects (scanlines, smart de-interlace, various warps and distorts).

There are also a few particles tools, including a nice-looking Particle Tracer effect, shown above.

Availability
All of the plugins can be downloaded individually from Rosenman’s website. As far as we can see, they’re compatible with 64-bit Photoshop CS5 and above, running on Windows XP or higher.

Documentation and installation instructions are provided online.

Rosenman also develops a number of commercial Photoshop plugins, including glow generator Lumiere and tools for creating customisable depth of field, motion blur and lens correction.
