Beta test Carbon Scatter for Maya or Cinema 4D

e-on software has called for Maya and Cinema 4D artists interesting in acting as beta testers for the upcoming ports of its Carbon Scatter instancing plug-in.

The 3ds Max version of the software was released last month. More details below.

PRESS RELEASE (Excerpts)
Following the successful release of Carbon Scatter for 3ds Max, e-on software is now looking for talented Maya and Cinema 4D users willing to take part in the beta testing of Carbon Scatter.

Carbon Scatter for Maya will initially work with the mental ray™ and V-Ray™ renderers.

Carbon Scatter for Cinema 4D will work with the native renderer.

Carbon Scatter will operate inside of Maya 2009 to 2012 and Cinema 4D R11.5 and R12, for 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows and Macintosh OS.

No knowledge of e-on software’s other products (such as Vue, Ozone or LumenRT) is required in order to become a qualified beta tester. However, candidates must possess the following qualities: persistence, imagination, and a desire to influence the final product, time, and of course testers should be proficient with Cinema 4D or Maya together with either the V-Ray or mental ray renderers.
