VFX artist Jocelyn ‘Strob’ Simard has posted a set of ‘making of’ videos for his viral hit Iron Baby. The Iron Man spoof, which stars the daughter of co-creator Patrick Boivin, has been viewed over 7 million times on YouTube.
The eight-part video walkthrough begins with a guide to HDRI stereolithography (above), before going on to explore hard-surface modelling, UV unwrapping, shaders and lighting, primarily in 3ds Max and V-Ray.
