Next Limit updates Maxwell Render plug-ins

The new Maxwell Fire interactive renderer: now supported in 3ds Max, Maya, Softimage and LightWave.

Next Limit has updated the plug-ins that link Maxwell Render to other 3D applications to take advantage of the new features in version 2.5 of the software.

The 3ds Max, Maya, Softimage, LightWave and SolidWorks plug-ins are all compatible with Maxwell Fire, the product’s new interactive preview render engine; the Nuke plug-in is not.

There’s no mention on the website of the other applications Maxwell Render supports through plug-ins, which include Cinema 4D, modo and After Effects. More news when we have it.
