CG Channel is on holiday this week

CG Channel is on holiday this week, so news will be thin on the ground.

To tide you over, we’re going to be covering five tools that caught our eye this year – but for one reason or another, we never did a story on.

Some of the products we’re going to be covering have killer reels. Some come from developers with a proven track record in the industry. And some are simply based around interesting ideas.

We’ll be posting another one of our tools to watch most days until the end of the week, so keep checking back for updates. Normal service resumes on Monday 2 September.

SwitchLight Studio is an AI-based virtual production tool for relighting actors in video.

Style3D Atelier is a new 3D clothing design tool in the vein of Marvelous Designer.

Meshcapade Me generates lightweight animated 3D avatars from videos of actors.

Reblium Studio is an all-in-one standalone tool for generating detailed 3D characters.
