Mari Live: An Evening with Foundry & Special Guests by Gnomon

Watch Gnomon’s Mari Live: An Evening with Foundry & Special Guests on Livestream.com. Meet Mari experts at the Gnomon School of VFX for an exclusive event featuring guests from Framestore, Create Advertising, and Method Studios. Discover the stunning work being created by these first-class studios, and see some of the awesome new features unleashed in Mari 4.0.


Registration is now open for Mari Live, Foundry’s user event for the 3D painting software, held at Hollywood’s Gnomon – School of Visual Effects, Games and Animation on Thursday 1 February 2018.

The event, part of which will also be broadcast worldwide on Gnomon’s Livestream channel – you can watch via the player embedded above – provides a chance to see how the world’s leading studios use Mari.

From the world of visual effects, speakers at Mari Live include Framestore CG lead Jessica Groom, and Justin Holt and Paul Paulino from Method Studios.

They will be joined by Jake Black, head of VR at award-winning entertainment marketing agency Create.

Foundry will also be demonstrating some of the new features rolled out in the recently released Mari 4.0, and its staff will be on hand to answer audience questions.

Before the talks begin, there will be a chance to network with the speakers and other attendees, with food and refreshments laid on for free.

Free to attend, but register online in advance
Mari Live: An Evening with Foundry & Special Guests takes place at Gnomon’s Hollywood campus from 6-9pm on Thursday 1 February 2018. Entry is free, but you’ll need to register online in advance.

If you can’t make it to LA, you can also watch for free on Gnomon’s Livestream channel.

You don’t need to register to watch the stream, and can ask questions via Twitter using the hashtag #gnomon, although Foundry notes that the Framestore presentation may not be streamed live.
