Lumion in action. Act-3D has just released a new Pro edition of the real-time visualisation tool.
Act-3D has launched a new professional edition of its Lumion real-time visualisation software.
Lumion Pro includes a range of new features, including the option to output depth maps and normal maps, or output directly for compositing software. The maximum output resolution for video has been raised to 2,560 x 1,440p and the maximum output frame rate to 200fps.
The software also comes with over 1,800 stock models, including buildings, vehicles, plants, animals and people. It costs €2,999 (around $3,875) and is available for Windows only.
The free and standard €1,499 editions of Lumion have also received point updates.

Lumion® Pro is launched together with an update of the whole Lumion product-line to version 2.2. Counting over 60.000 users now, the Lumion success continues to change the architectural visualization industry.
Lumion Pro enables users to export and import their whole scene in one single file. This allows working in teams efficiently. Moreover it is now possible to deliver real-time 3D walk-through scenes to clients at any stage of the project. This improves the involvement of the customer in the project for a more successful cooperation. The video output functionality has been enhanced with several new movie effects, such as contrail, white balance and selective saturation. Image and video output are now suitable for use in 3rd party post processor and video composing software. Last, but not least, it is possible to render WQHD 2560×1440 resolution video.
