The team behind indie sci-fi movie Project London has released some of the 3D assets used in the film for free.
The download comprises six vehicles and mech suits, all fully rigged in Blender 2.4.8, and is available under a Creative Commons licence.
A full-length feature, Project London features 774 effects shots, all created in Blender by a team of around 250 volunteers worldwide.
In addition to director Ian Hubert, the download features models and rigs created by Dolf Veenvliet and Nathan Vegdahl, both veterans of the Blender Foundation’s open movies.
The team is also running a Kickstarter campaign to fund the completion of the movie. The two aren’t officially linked, but if you do find the rigs useful, why not donate something?
