Thinkbox Software ships Frost for 3ds Max

Thinkbox Software has released Frost, its meshing plug-in for 3ds Max.

We reported on the company’s demos last week, calling the software hard to categorise. According to the official release statement: “Frost is a compound geometry object for 3ds Max that can be used to generate a single mesh from particles, vertex clouds, object positions, point data files or a combination thereof using various iso-surface or geometry cloning techniques.”

Frost 1.0 supports both 32 and 64-bit builds of 3ds Max 9 and above. A single licence costs $495.
