Artist Spotlight: Cecil Kim

Cecil Kim talks about his life and career, from humble beginnings as an immigrant, to his success as a leading video game artist.

We recently had the opportunity to interview Cecil Kim, who recently worked as Lead Concept Artist on God of War III at Sony Computer Entertainment America in Santa Monica, CA.

Cecil Kim grew up in Seoul, South Korea and moved out to California for college. Through a lot of hard work and perseverance, Cecil got jobs at Imaginary Forces in Hollywood, then Square USA on Parasite Eve and Final Fantasy IX.

Since 2000, Cecil has worked with SCRA on titles such as Twisted Metal Black and the God of War series.

Cecil also teaches at Gnomon School of Visual Effects in Hollywood.
