You mightn’t have heard the name before, but you probably will in time to come. Jorik Dozy is a student at Gnomon School of Visual Effects, specializing in Matte Painting and graduating in just 5 weeks time.
Jorik is well on his way to becoming a leading matte painter. For the last 8 months, he’s been attached to the new Gnomon Studios (offering Gnomon students internships with real production experience) and worked on the upcoming Green Lantern movie, JJ Abram’s Fringe Episode 219, as well as Shane Acker’s upcoming short film ‘+-’ (Plus Minus). He also did a stint at Digital Domain and worked on Sil van der Woerd’s White Swan music video.
Not bad for a student who hasn’t graduated yet…
(five more weeks to go!)
Definitely check out Jorik’s website at www.akajork.com.

Don’t you think it’s a little bias to promote a Gmonon student like this since this website is part of the Gnomon group of companies? IMO, His work is nice, but not amazing as you say in the article.
