Gnomon launches new weekend workshops

Want to top up your art skills? The Gnomon School of Visual Effects’ new Weekend Workshops may be what you need, offering the chance to learn skills from colour theory to creature design in focused, 3-6 hour classes.

Hosted by leading professionals from the worlds of games and VFX, the workshops provide an opportunity to learn live, in a more intimate setting: attendance is limited to 24 students for each class.

Students are also “welcome to bring their portfolios for critique, while gaining valuable insights into how these artists have become masters of their craft”.

The Weekend Workshops kick off on Saturday 18 January 2014 with Allen Williams‘ course on creature design for film, and continue weekly. Classes cost $129 or $258, according to length.
