Part one of beta tester Richard Yot’s series of modo 601 retopology training videos. See the other two below.
Although the character animation tools got pride of place in the headlines, there was a lot of other new stuff in modo 601 when it was released last month – notably, a retopology toolset.
Now illustrator Richard Yot (whose short, Dragon Tamer, created entirely in the beta version of 601, was featured in our coverage of the launch) has released a three-part series of training videos for the toolset.
The tutorials, which total just under 25 minutes of footage, show how modo 601′s topology tools can be used in conjunction with its traditional modelling tools for fast, efficient workflow.
