You can do it! VFX – also known as developer Artur Leão – has released an update to iDevCam, its virtual camera control app for 3ds Max.
iDevCam enables the user to control the 3ds Max camera with an iPod, iPad or iPhone running iOS 3.1.3 or higher, providing an indie approximation of the kind of virtual film-making tools used on Avatar or Rango.
Version 1.5 includes playback control, high and low pass filtering for smoother camera movements, and the option to select the axis in which movement is restricted.
iDevCam costs $1.99. The update is free to registered users.
