iDevCam in action. The app enables the virtual camera in 3ds Max to be controlled with an iPhone.
You can do it! VFX has released a new app that enables users to control the camera in 3ds Max via an iPhone.
iDevCam – effectively a much-simplified version of the kind of virtual film-making tools used on Avatar – is compatible with 3ds Max 9 and above; and also works with iPods or iPads running iOS 3.13 or higher.
The app costs $1.99. An Android version is in the works, but no release date has been announced.
