The new selection tools from the upcoming Softimage Advantage Pack in action.
Autodesk has posted a set of videos showing the new tools in the upcoming Softimage Advantage Pack – aka Softimage 2012.5 – on the official Planet Softimage blog.
The blog post fleshes out yesterday’s bare-bones initial news announcement, detailing a range of new selection and modelling tools that will be included in the upcoming update, which is free to Subscription customers.
There is also a bit more detail on the updates to the animation and ICE visual programming systems, and a few cool Easter eggs, such as a ‘speech bubble’-like Annotation object for scene organisation.
