Watch a day in the life of John Lasseter

Disney has released a new documentary, John Lasseter – A Day in the Life on YouTube.

The video follows Pixar’s Chief Creative Officer for a day during the making of Cars 2, from the way in to work to clocking-off time, condensing the result down into 25 minutes.

As you might expect from an official documentary, there’s nothing particularly revealing on show – and nothing at all of Lasseter’s outside life – but it does provide a glimpse behind the scenes at Pixar, and the usual round of dailies, reviews and meetings that make up a typical studio day.

And yes, Lasseter really does have as many toys and knick-knacks in his office as you probably suspected.
