Using Mental Ray iRay with Maya 2011

Ashraf Aiad made a post on his blog on how he got Menral Ray standalone 3.8.1 iray working with Maya 2011. iray is still in beta, so there’s probably still a lot of problems but still very cool nevertheless.

If you don’t know what iray is, it’s basically photo-realistic renderer that runs on NVIDIA Cuda (GPU processing). Watch this video to get a better idea.
