Ahead of next week’s GDC 2017 conference, Autodesk has posted its latest games reel, showcasing some of the titles (and in some cases, cinematics) created using its software.
Given the ubiquity of Autodesk’s tools in modern game development, pretty much all gaming life is here: recent entries in AAA franchises like Deus Ex, Assassin’s Creed, Battlefield, Mirror’s Edge and Halo Wars are all present in correct, as are indie hits like Firewatch, The Flame in the Flood and We Happy Few.
There is the requisite sprinkling of VR footage and, if sports are your thing, there are clips of large men doing things with balls of various sizes. It’s all rather impressive.
