Eye candy: Maxon’s 2016 Cinema 4D demo reel

Maxon has released its 2016 spring demo reel: a two-minute blast of the best work created in Cinema 4D.

This spring’s reel is purely entertainment-based, and largely motion design work, which means that as well as the work of large studios like MPC, some of the projects on show were created by solo artists.

Those solo artists include live visuals specialist Trevor Kerr, the reliably excellent Mike ‘Beeple‘ Winkelmann, and John Likens, who previously worked on Iron Man 3’s HUD effects.

In between those extremes, the reel features a lot of cool smaller studios, including Big Machine, Monogram and current Maxon favourites Aixsponza, whose short film Seed featured in the visuals for Cinema 4D R17.
