CLO Virtual Fashion just posted a nice two-minute compilation of some of the best new projects created using Marvelous Designer 5, its pattern-based 3D clothing design tool.
It’s mostly real-time work, including both recent Assassin’s Creed and Metal Gear Solid titles – there’s a nice timelapse of the making of Big Boss’s leather jacket from The Phantom Pain.
However, VFX gets a brief look-in, courtesy of Ted’s tuxedo from Ted 2, and there’s a very nice architectural visualisation environment, on which Marvelous Designer is used for bedding and soft furnishings.
