Eye candy: Zero-Day

If you follow our Facebook feed, you’ve probably already seen Zero-Day, Mike ‘Beeple’ Winkelmann’s latest CG short. But did you know that you can download all of the assets used to create the animation?

Themed around the threat of cyber warfare and tightly choreographed to a strobing electronic soundtrack, Zero-Day takes the viewer on an endless ride through the guts of a giant machine.

You can see a ‘process video‘ (it’s a bit impressionistic to be called a breakdown) on Vimeo, and a gallery of still on Behance.

The project files themselves – nine Cinema 4D scene files, plus a Reaper project file for the soundtrack – can be downloaded from Beeple’s website via the link below. They’re “sort of” licensed for commercial use.
