Eye candy: Maxon’s 2015 Cinema 4D ad reel

Maxon has posted its 2015 demo reel of the best new commercials work created with Cinema 4D, covering pretty much every conceivable style of visuals from photorealistic rendering to fake 2D.

There’s some excellent work from Neon, in the shape of its mesmerising ‘Lost and Found‘ spot for Woolmark, and from ManvsMachine, whose spot for Nike converts its Air Max Zero shoe to a cloud of bubbles.

But it’s The Mill’s show. Fully 7 of the 18 commercials featured in the reel come from Mill+, including its 2014 idents for D&AD, which convert the D&AD Awards’ iconic pencils into a beautiful Rube Goldberg machine.

There’s also a separate motion graphics reel, which features some nice work, although quite a few of the projects are repeated from the advertising reel.
