Dailymotion is screening the first six minutes of Rango, Industrial Light & Magic’s first animated feature.
The intro sequence, which is either a very long trailer for the Dutch market, or something that has got out where it shouldn’t be, shows Johnny Depp’s title character getting into a spot of bother in an Old West saloon.
The character work is lovely – and given that Rango is a chameleon, there is finally a good reason for studios designing CG eyes that don’t look like the ones in Pixar movies.
