French real-time visualisation company Enodo has produced this flythrough of Cluny Abbey using CryEngine 3.
The sequence, which has echoes of classic CG test animations such as Paul Debevec’s Fiat Lux, gets into gear in the timelapse shot, which starts at 1:22. It isn’t perfect, but you’d be more than happy to see it in a game.
The engine itself is due to make its game debut in March with the release of developer Crytek’s Crysis 2.

The light coming thru the stain glass window when it falls on the columns is not colored? Strange they omit that.
