Get into SIGGRAPH 2011 for (almost) nothing

Friday, December 3rd, 2010 | Posted by Jim Thacker

SIGGRAPH is calling for student volunteers to help out at next year’s show.

Volunteers who commit at least 18 hours to helping out with the event get into the complete SIGGRAPH program, including all of the courses and papers, free of charge. Commit 30 hours and you become eligible to apply for travel assistance and possibly free accommodation.

The scheme is open to anyone enrolled full time at high school or college for at least one semester in the 2010-2011 academic year.

The show takes place in Vancouver from 7-11 August 2011.
