Academy Technical Achievement Award recipient Next Limit has released a new version of the RealFlow fluid simulation software. The big new thing in RealFlow 5 is Hybrido, which is a technology for simulating large bodies of water with lot’s of secondary effects such as splashes, foam and mist. Combined with RealFlow’s built-in dynamics solver (called Caronte), it can create quite impressive, large scale fluid simulations. A Hybrido White Paper is available for download.
