Eye candy: The Brute’s Passion

A medieval torturer gets a whole new outlook on love, courtesy of a witch and her magic wand, in René Hoekstra’s comedy short, The Brute’s Passion.

Created as a graduate project at the Utrecht School of the Arts, The Brute’s Passion has a lot in common with Chuck Jones’ old Pepé Le Pew cartoons, and comes with a suitably Looney Tunes-esque score, courtesy of Bart Delissen and Hessel van Hoorn.
