Mediachance has updated its Dynamic Photo-HDR high dynamic range image-creation software, adding support for exposure fusion and improved anti-ghosting.
Photo-HDR 5.0 offers support for both conventional exposure fusion, which creates a low dynamic range composite image from a series of bracketed exposures without tone mapping; or a hybrid workflow, which combines both fusion and tone mapping.
The update also offers both automatic anti-ghosting to eliminate artefacts where objects have moved through the shot between exposures (shown above); or a manual workflow based around painting mattes.
The package is marketed more at home photographers than CG artists, but at just $55, it’s worth a look.
