Marek Denko has been winning awards for his still images since most of us started out in 3D.
But now the legendary CG artist has put some of his best-known images in motion. His new retrospective reel – a ‘dirty and shiny personal project’ – takes some of his gallery work and moves the camera around the 3D scene to create a slick, photorealistic animated montage.
It makes for fascinating viewing if you know the images in question – but it’s still just as beautiful if you don’t.
