Virtual Figure Drawing Studio (VFDS) is not a substitute to real human models nor any current programs or software. Nuances of tendons and muscles under tension, fatty tissues under the influence of gravity, all these are missing features in some posing programs. VFDS is a tool, a useful utility for artists to get over that difficult initial stage of visualizing, understanding and knowing the intricacy of the human form in figure drawing.

Wooden posable dolls are boring and limited to their range of motion. A reference to flat images or photos can reveal a lot more. VFDS provides that crucial 3rd dimensional approach.
