About the image:

The is one of the ginat creatures tha appears in the book. This scene takes place in the San Diego zoo. Notice the bald dude on the bottom left holding the book, thats Dean Lorey the writer of this crazy tale.

How was the image made:

very painfully :) many techniques applied.
