CG Channel runs monthly competitions in Visual Effects, Digital Sculpting and Matte Painting, hosted by selected industry professionals. These competitions are a great way to get professional feedback from judges and peers to improve your skills! There's a new competition each month, with great chances to win training products from The Gnomon Workshop!

How it works

At the beginning of each month, the host will post the theme of the competition. For the duration of the month, participants can post in the respective competition forums to get feedback from the host and peers. At the end of the month, the host will judge the entries and post the winners.

  An ideal monthly contest for aspiring 3D character artists, Digital Sculpting challenge doesn't require long render times or extensive knowledge of texturing. You can even submit renders straight out of ZBrush, Mudbox, or digital sculpting soft of your choice!

Judging

Winners are selected based on originality, concept and technical execution. Winners are selected by the host of the competition.
